Patrick Duffy should have starred

Swayze in looks and body just did not cut it.

Gee, I've never heard that before...

You're not familiar with Susan.

reply

Didn't that just add to the whole "I thought you would be bigger" gag. Kind of gave Dalton edge over his opponents when they underestimated him.

reply

Bingo..

So Bobby from “Dallas” as the most badass bouncer there is? Swayze would have torn him 3 new assholes in a nanosecond. You really don’t know anything about martial art, exercise physiology, or . . . well, ANYTHING, really, do you, “Susan?” Oh, wait: you do know how to be an unfunny troll.

Not for nothing: Bruce Lee weighed 140 pounds. Force equals mass times speed, plus accuracy. Dalton: “You can take the biggest guy in the world. If you smash his knee, it’s over.” That’s a paraphrase, but anyone who’s not a troll will get the point.

Bobby from Dallas as Dalton . . . ?! Jesus wept.

Hi Pop. He used Patrick Duffy for a leg

It would have been cool if they had Duffy in it and it were a made for TV movie instead. It would have cleaned up the movie.

reply

If Road House had been a made-for-TV movie in 1985 he would have been a great choice.

Wow. I just realized that I responded to this once already. I must be losing my marbles... At least I remained consistent.
