O'CONNOR????

One part of this movie I can never figure out. The scene where Tinker and O'Connor failed to get Pat Mcgurn's bartending job back. Afterwards, they meet at Wesley's house and Wesley berates them for failing to get Pat his job back. When he asks for an apology from the two and both Tinker and O'Connor both apologize. Why did Wesley except Tinkers apology but not O'Connor's? Why did Wesley blame O'Connor for the failure to get Pat Mcgurn's bartending job back? Then Wesley proceeds to beat up O'Connor? This is one part of the movie I didn't understand. Any input from anyone on this board would be greatly appreciated.

1. O'Connor was the brains of the pair (as it were) while Tinker was just there for muscle (yeah I know). Thus, O'Connor gets the blame for not explaining it correctly to Dalton.

2. Tinker apologize first and then O'Connor belatedly joined in. Wesley heard that.

3. Since O'Connor sucks at the physical aspect of the job, he has no value to Wesley if he cannot convince people to do Wesley's bidding (unlike the "life is good" guy).
