so bad its good ? you're damn right...... Unintentional Comedy ?....Oh yeah

but as a normal action movie its surprisingly watchable despite its sh*tty trailer.

its not as unintentionally funny and Hopelessly side splittingly bad as something like "Road to Revenge" with wings hauser

It actually looks quite good at times and has something more grittier about it than something like China O'Brien for example.

Was it directed badly ...sure , there's sound problems, amateur mistakes, bad acting bad lines and some sloppy fights scenes...you will know all this already if you've seen the trailer.
It was only the really lazy fight Choreography that Urked me about this film ( i'm taking bout the fight in the water and right at the end )

if this film had the fights of the level of No retreat No surrender 2 or something like that ..even some Lorenzo lamas or Billy Blanks stuff ....This film would've been great.


it moves along at a brisk pace and the Villains are a hoot...specially Oliver reed who staggers around the set, overacting his ass off.

I love Oliver Reeds late 80's , 90's career ...coz its obvious by this point he's always drunk and just taking any roles in any movie for the love of being infront of a camera ....any camera
He seems out of place in the 90's Action B movie genre it almost becomes surreal.

he's a good actor and though he dosnt prove this in "the Revenger" ..He sure does entertain.

The frustrating thing is about SOME of these Bad ...bargin bin movies
is that they Could've been better than a lot of today's action movies ( it dosnt take much ) ...If they had just put a little more effort in at certain points.

I don't mean better cgi or actors ...Just tighten up those fights and hand out a few bad ass looking death here an there.

That said ...i enjoyed this Movie and it was more satisfying that Jason Statham's Crappy "Homefront" which i watched just before it
