Amasing how they got all those people back from the 1973.4 versions!


Thought they were mad that their work was made into two movies? Anyway, they might have been needing a paycheck by '89.

It wasn't that well shot. It was lacking money and looks like a rushed production; like a made for TV movie.

It was nice seeing all the original players back, but I found it an abysmally sad ending to the series.

I watched it yesterday, and agree that it seemed awfully rushed.

I understand that was probably due to Roy Kinnear's tragic death during the production, as well as Richard Chamberlain's subsequent refusal to participate in more scenes than he had originally signed on for, because he felt his death was given short shrift by Lester.

And I like C. Thomas Howell, but he was terribly miscast in this film. Ditto Kim Cattrall in the role of Justine.

I did not know that last part. Unfortunate if true, but a film project needs to keep rolling in order to get it done and not go over budget. I'm surprised the production wasn't shut down.
