Amazed this film was made

I didn't even know there was a sequel to the first two films. And, I was surprised that the original cast, except for Charlton Heston, returned to reprise their roles.

Even so, I found this movie a bit more comical and with lower production values than the first two. Sadly, I only caught part of this film and I look forward to seeing the whole film.

I thought this was supposed to be the long lost chapter to the bio of Zasu Pitts. Whoops; I'm on the wrong page!

Nothing exists more beautifully than nothing.

Me too. I caught the last 45 minutes or so on WTBS years back. It looked like it was a made for TV movie. I never heard of the film before I accidentally saw it on Turner.

Back in the day, I had read about the production and the death of Roy Kinnear. I believe it was intended for cable in the US, and theatrical release in Europe. It did eventually play on cable and received a vhs release. I could ne wrong though, and the cable release was a result of Kinnear's death. However, given the low budget, US theatrical release seems unlikely.

I was disappointed when I first viewed it, but have come to enjoy the better moments.

I don't recall ever hearing about this film and back then Entertainment Tonight
was already on the air.
I found it while looking at HBO(s) timetable
