Danish version?

Im danish so obviously Im gonna want the danish translated version of the film. I know there is one because I watched it when it was a kid. Unfortunately Ive never been able to find it on DVD ;[

Anyone know anything about this? Id really appreciate it.

Dear you, I've been looking for this, as well as many other tv movies with danish dub, but alas.. they never put it out. Only chance is calling Det Danske Film institut og spørge. Det er virkelig nederen at de ikke passer bedre på den slags kulturskatte :(

Being of the same nationality I wonder why you'd like this little Swedish masterpiece turned into something it isn't, namely, Danish.

Personally I hate it when films are dubbed... and in this day and age where subtitles for almost anything can be found on-line

Time is the fire in which we burn.

Den findes allerede på dansk. Med bl.a. Preben Kristensen :)

It's not that I don't appreciate the original. I bought the swedish version and I love it. But the first time I ever watched this I was a child, growing up in Denmark and I watched the danish version. The danish voices, the danish actors... that's what I remember and that's why I'd prefer the danish version. It has sentimental value to me and I remember every word spoken.

To this day I still prefer the silly dubbed versions of Emil fra Lønneberg and Pippi Langstrømpe for the same reason. And I normally hate dubs and avoid watching new movies if it isn't the original language.

So it's not to be disrespectful. It's simply because my brain wants what it remembers from childhood :)

I'm OP btw. New account!
