Did anyone else think... that they were lovers... or going to be. The last line in the film made me think so.... and the look that lou gives Kiefer while on the horse.

Oh yes, definately (though I can't help but resent that Brokeback Mountain seems to be the be all and end all gay movie these days). And if the movie itself isn't obvious enough, there's also the fact that it was directed by Jack Sholder -- you know, the director of the second Nightmare On Elm Street movie.

Yes I thought the ending seemed quite gay, the lines and the way it was delivered.

One of the few true and remarkable commentaries on gayness in the 80s. Excellent film!
