One of Sandra Bullock's first roles

This movie will be remembered only as the movie Sandra Bullock was in.
Everything - the writing, and the acting (excapt for Sandra Bullock) was flat and uninspired. The second-best acting had to be the philosopher-turned-minister black man. It's like it was the first film for everyone in this movie or at least they acted like it.
If a person with a small part seemed well-cast and handled the role well, they stood out because everyone else was so atrocious.
The leading man was cute and yet that was all. Does he really think being cute is all that this acting business is about?
I have the video (bought because of you guessed it, the name Sandra Bullock on the box) and the movie has a different name. I'm guessing the movie got such bad reviews that they had to change the name. Not that many people ever even watched it...
