This movie has the worst dialogue I have ever heard

The D/FW area has a mix of different accents because so many people living here came from out-of-state. Midwestern or California accents are just as common as the stereotypical Texas twang.

That said, the quality of the looped dialogue in this film is notoriously lousy.

Forget about Texas, nobody in the US spoke that way back then (or even now).

As for the dialogue, I'm 99% sure that nobody proofread the script. Whatever hit the word processor first stayed. Dreadful.
