There was an asian puppet and some other puppets in the beginning of the movie, I kept on waiting for them to show up, but they never did, instead a few other puppets showed up out of the blue. Could of been a better movie, but instead of just sucked with no clear direction.
shareActually it's a good movie, with a good selection of puppets. I'm not sure how those other ones would've made it better. The Japanese puppet was clearly alive, so it was a shame he was never brought back in the films. My only conclusion (story wise) is he was a watch dog puppet, and the villain had no use for him.
Whatever direction this film was aiming for was clearly not what happened in PUPPET MASTER II. David Schmoeller was never allowed to make another, so there's no telling what kind of film series we would have seen had he returned.
