why not mention a marvel superhero? and make it seem like it was a part of the marvel universe?
shareAt the time, this was the only Marvel movie (there were serials and TV movies before this one). Marvel wasn't as much of a juggernaut as it is now, so if Frank were to make a crack about a comicbook hero, it's be Batman who had a popular movie that year.
