Best Phantom Of The Opera Version

I think this is the best version of Phantom of The Opera. I found all the others to be boring no offense. This movie was great, it was exciting, gory, and it had Robert Englund in it. He was great as the Phantom! 10/10 from me.

definitly much more of a drama than the most modern version

I agree with you 100%. This movie is in my top 150. My second favorite would have to be the 1962 version.

My personal favorite is the 1943 Claude Rains version, though the 1925 Lon Chaney version is probably a better film. This is my 3rd favorite.

Either this or the Claude Rains version.

I really want to see this but my favorite so far is probably the 1962 version with heather sears.

The 2004 movie is what brought me into the world of Phantom, so I can't help but love it.

I agree. Plus, the musical is the best version of the story.

Personally I think it is one of the worst versions: poor to average acting, the main music theme rather forgettable, the past of the Phantom poorly explained... 5/10.
