Early on in my marriage (about 15 years ago), I talked my husband into renting this video. (I was a pretty big fan of the guys) Immediately after the ending (which had us looking at each other....looking at the TV...looking at each other.....) my husband looked at me and said "You are hereby banned from choosing movies. Seriously. Until I decide otherwise. Seriously." It was, seriously, about 5 years before I could choose a movie without serious scrutiny by my husband.
LOL...wow, I started this thread and I guess I never checked the responses afterward. The thing about me not getting to choose movies after picking this one was mostly a family joke, although it was a long time before I picked another movie. I'd have hated to make another choice as bad as that one! The movie was AWFUL and I was actually embarrassed at having chosen it when it turned out to be so bad after I expected it to be awesome. "Penn and Teller Get Killed" turned out to be the sucky movie by which all subsequent sucky movies have been judged. If ever my husband says anything about how bad a movie is, one of us usually comments "Well, it's no 'Penn and Teller Get Killed', but it was pretty horrible." Calm down people. It's just a movie with a bunch of people in it that we don't know.
How about some valid criticism? What about the movie was so horrible? Keeping in mind that whether you like something or not does not make it good or bad.

I enjoyed the film very much. I like it as much now as I did back then. i bet it is a nightmare watching films with you and your husband. the kind of people that always bitch and complain and ruin everything. go order a pizza and shut the hell up now
I thought it was pretty good all things considered. The fact that their death caused so many other people to kill themselves, coupled with I Started a Joke playing under Penn's voice over was hilarious.
