At the very end when the driver/sergeant shoots the colonels in the back seat, the Makarov PM is silenced, but is still extremely loud. You can even hear the sound of the suppressed shot behind the loud shot.

I know suppressors don't completely silence guns, at least not as well as most movies show. Is this realistic because they were in a tiny enclosed space inside the car, or was this creative license?

A "silencer" reduces the noise level really only marginally. On a .45 as in this movie, the noise reduction may be only 20% or so, hardly noiseless. A silenced .45 makes a damn loud bang, especially when it's maybe half the length of a real suppressor as shown here.
