Fight scenes?

I just heard about this a few minutes ago, and I must say I am intrigued. I'm thinking about buying this, but I'm not sure. I was just wondering if the action scenes are worth a view.

If you are a fan of JC then this film (IMO) is a must have. It's one of his best works from a directorial point of view. However, to answer your real query about the action. I would say it's well worth having for the action scenes. They are just as energetic, exciting and fun as many of his classics. One of my favourites is the wonderful "proving himself" scrap with his new gang members (trying not to spoil it too much!). The fight lasts for a few seconds, but JC was showing he still rocks!

You forget all the things, you just do it!

Yeah, the action scenes are fantastic. There's actually only three major action sequences, but they're all pretty lengthy (especially the last one in a rope factory), very slick and elaborate in terms of choreography and stuntwork, and a lot of fun to watch.

The movie as a whole is quite enjoyable, with more emphasis on plot and comedy than most of Jackie's other flicks, but it comes together rather smoothly here and the two hours fly by quickly.
