Scene that wasn't in the movie
I own the VHS to this and on the back of the cover it shows Scott and Terry on a elephant.....that wasn't in the movie
sharei emailed loren avedon personally about 2months ago and found out the answer to this. this is straight from the great man himself:
"That Elephant scene as I recall was supposed to be after the scene where Cyndi choppers us into the Khmer Rouge and where her helicopter gets blown up... we somehow get on these Elephants to cross the terrain and go after Sue lin.. so we're riding on the Elephants and Mac says something like "so much for your choice of transportation" and Cyndi says "come on Mac you can write a book about it someday" and Mac says: "what's the difference, you can't read anyway" ... then Mac says, "did I ever tell you the story about the Elephant with three *beep* ... and I laugh and say something like, "come on Mac, let's just get out of this jungle..."
lolz....damn never knew that...how did u get his email???
