North American VHS

I rented this when i was 10 in 1992. I know the region 1 and 2 for Raging Thunder has the 'Everywhere with you' song at the beginning. but i remember there being a orchestra with percussion sounds playing at the beginning and not the song used on the DVD releases. I know NRNS2 had different VHS versions an Australian version with a slightly longer run time than the North American and Europeon versions. if anyone still owns the American VHS version of this what do they use for the beginning credits or i'm i just dreaming.

This is a film that had a lot of alternate cuts. It's quite possible for that it had a different release on the north American release.

The most frustrating thing about the film is that it was released when there was absolutely no buzz about martial arts films in USA. 1987? 1988? They didn't really boom in the USA till Van Damme films got going circa 1991 with Double Impact (1991), then didn't really get going till late 90's with Rush Hour.

Other than that, NRNS2 is absolutely brilliant.

So I purchased a second hand copy of the North American VHS from amazon, mainly because I was curious about the possible alternate cuts that would be featured in it.

Upon watching it, I noticed that were several scenes that were cut short/omitted, however "Everywhere With You" was still the song that was featured in the opening credits.

I really hope this gets released on Blu-Ray soon, the movie is as unique and amazing as it was when I first saw it in the early 90's.
