this film was so depressing! I wont watch it again

Aw Hidden In America. I liked that one too. Yeah, NPLH is more sad than HIA, but both are sad. If you don't like NPLH then never watch Saint of Fort Washington. That's worse than both of these movies. I love that movie & it's one of the best acted movies that I've ever seen, but it's depressing!

The film is very downbeat for a US tv movie.

It's a movie about homelessness (and a very realistic one at that), did you expect it to be like a Disney movie? If all you want are bright and happy movies that always end with a happy ending than maybe all you should be watching are Disney movies and Rom-Coms.
