Scheider's Character any relation to "The Growing Pains"'s Mike Seaver? (Or I guess the whole family for that matter) He could be an uncle, a black-sheep of the family. Who would have liked to see his character guest star? Discuss.

Seems weird they didn't change his name to Bill or something. Mike Seaver certainly was a pretty well-known tv character at the time.
