Seems like new things seen with each viewing....

We were watching this again last night and each time in viewing it's like something else is seen....

Never noticed the "plumber's crack" to Santa in the opening cartoon sequence....

Next, though the running gag of Cousin Eddie's, um, appendage and accompanying metaphors are pretty obvious, the full handed re-arrangement in the grocery store was missed until this viewing.

Didn't notice Eddie's, um, appendage, but this was the first year I saw Santa's crack. I rewound it to show my wife and she was also amazed we never saw this before.

Have you caught the reference to Cousin Eddie's business when the bosses' wife calls the police and makes a remark about the horribly "bulging" man that kidnapped her husband? Yes, Eddie's business is emphasized in the egg nog drinking scene and dog food grocery scene (and of course, the metaphor of the sewage hose).

I do remember the bulging comment, yes, but Eddie is a rather big guy, particularly when compared to Mr. Shirley. I'll have to pay more attention LOL.
