Commentary better than the movie

I watched the movie after watching European Vacation. Maybe I was too down after watching EC and thought CV was about the same level. Plus the Chevy Chase only commentary on EC was a downer as well. But watching the commentary on CV got me more interested in the movie as the discussion was pretty interesting.
