What dessert was Clark eating?

When Uncle Louis burned the tree up lighting his cigar?

reply

It was their Aunt Bethany's green Jello! He finds it hard to eat it so he asks "if her cat by any chance, eats Jello?!" lol

reply

I used to think that but don't we see bits of cat pellets in there implying maybe the mold she used was also used to feed the cat?

reply

Didn't she top the Jell-o with cat food?

reply

Yes, those were pellets tell-tale of a cat! Good call.

reply

He asks if the cat eats Jell-O because she put cat food on top of the Jell-O mold.

reply

I personally thought that was gross, putting cat food on the jello. There's a reason humans don't normally eat it. However, since Aunt Bethany made it, and is a crazy old lady who has no idea where she is half the time, I'm not surprised.

It looked like a thick piece of pie or maybe cheesecake. It looks tasty though doesn't it!?

reply

I just saw the scene you're talking about. It's a different desert than the Jell-O he ate earlier. It looks like a piece of cheesecake.

what is jello. i never heard of it before this film

reply

In the UK we call it jelly.

Which is confusing for Americans, as jelly for them is like what we call jam :-)

reply

It looked like cheesecake to me
