Where is the uncut version?
As great as Mondo Macabro's work usually is, they now managed to release this movie TWICE in a version that's missing 30 minutes of footage. The Malay VCD release of this movie runs 111 minutes (PAL speed).

It is missing 30 mins, I've seen the longer cut and meanwhile the long version seems available on Youtube too.
We won't see the special FX in better quality as they probably were shot that way.
However we can be thankful that we are able to see that film in such a great quality at all, as the original materials Mondo Macabro got to work with were already close to rotten from what I heard.
As for the long version, crappy Pan-&-Scan U-Matic video and VCD versions is probably all that remain from it. Scary to think of that...
Much more should be done urgently to save the filmic legacy of SE Asian countries!
