20th Anniversary

Today, April 30th marks the twentieth anniversary of this film being shown on the Hallmark Hall of Fame.
That Sunday night I was ending what was to become my last Lost Weekend. Thank you Mr. Woods and Mr. Garner for showing me myself.
I have often heard of people being seduced by a book. I am grateful to have been saved, partially by a film.
Sunday I saw the film and that Tuesday I took the hardest steps, the ones down the stairs of a brownstone in Manhattan to start growing up at age 28.

What a great story. This movie is incredible. A member of my Al-Anon group said there is going to be a movie about Lois W. I'm looking forward to that, too.
