This is a fine movie

About Bill Wilson, founder of AA

And that's it

I believe it ends before he even wrote the book

it doesn't realy go into any detail about how the wrote the book or came up with the twelve step

I does gloss over some of Bills deficiencies as a human beyond his drinking

But bill was human and therefore had maney

some on this thread will go further in the story and bash Bill, and rightfully so in some instances.

Not important to the movie or AA in General

He was a champion 13th stepper

He did use LSD, A LOT in fact thought it might be the cure he'd been looking for

He also did a lot of research in the use of Niacin as a cure

He was a con-man all his life

He smoked heavily

There has always bee questions about how he handled the proceeds from the book. but then again he was the author of record the proceeds went to him, untill the late 40s, early 50s, when he turned the proceeds over to t he AA board they were his to do with as he saw fit

The Orange Papers are not crap, but should be taken with a large GRAIN OF SALT

do FURTHER RESEARCH on your own, your on the inter net for christs sake.

I've been an AA member for 5yrs 6 mos and 2 days at this writing.

IF you read other posts you will find some ignorant uninformed posts on AA

You can always PM me
