Anyone think Jim Carrey should do a remake?

Considering his brilliant performance of Mr. Brown on In Living Color, I think Jim would be the best choice for the "re-imagination" of this film.

Well... he is rather less irritating than Daniel, who has to be the hammiest and full-of-himself-est actor on the planet.

Oh, yeah, and the worthiest, pain-in-the-arse-est, most over-rated as well.

I hear he's a good cobbler though.

The Film is a Classic in my opinion, and theres no need to fix something that
is not in any way broken.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. This film contains one of the best performances in cinema history. Remaking it would be a criminal act.

Any remake of this film would be an atrocity in epic proportions. I cant think of a worse way to insult DDL than to have Jim Carrey redo the movie in that role.

For the record I'd love to see this get remade, but I'd rather see the rock play Christy in it, and if possible have James Cameron direct it.
