Anyone think Jim Carrey should do a remake?

Considering his brilliant performance of Mr. Brown on In Living Color, I think Jim would be the best choice for the "re-imagination" of this film.

NO!

Without you today's emotions would be the scruff of yesterday's.

reply

This could be my chance to bond and become a valued member of the family

There is a special place in Hell for you =)

True, but I was thinking somone more in the mold of Jacky Chan...plus that he has a hell of a left foot!

reply

are you serious, that is one of the most stupidists questions ever

reply

why not macauley caulkin or pete rose then?
makes the same amount of sense

reply

Well he has has'nt he? In LC? That's one of my favourite skits! "Wreck the pub!"

reply

Could we please FORGET THIS DUMB IDEA! The movie is great, don't spoil it with a remake!

reply

Well... he is rather less irritating than Daniel, who has to be the hammiest and full-of-himself-est actor on the planet.

Oh, yeah, and the worthiest, pain-in-the-arse-est, most over-rated as well.

I hear he's a good cobbler though.

reply

are you making fun of the movie?

*oh jackie chan has one hell of a left foot*

do you think your funny?

cuz you arent..

thats the stupidest thing ive ever heard..

and this is the stupidest idea EVER..a remake?

with jim cary?

are you ill?

is there something wrong with you mentally?

i think so...

reply

The Film is a Classic in my opinion, and theres no need to fix something that
is not in any way broken.

reply

Are you all retarded?

reply

If it ain't broke don't fix it. This film contains one of the best performances in cinema history. Remaking it would be a criminal act.

reply

Fixing something that's not broken has never stopped Hollywood before. I mean, Jesus, they're remaking Wizard of Oz!

reply

"Anyone think Jim Carrey should do a remake?"

I do not.

reply

Any remake of this film would be an atrocity in epic proportions. I cant think of a worse way to insult DDL than to have Jim Carrey redo the movie in that role.

reply

Only ONE person realized the OP was trolling? Wtf imdbers, get your head in the game.

For the record I'd love to see this get remade, but I'd rather see the rock play Christy in it, and if possible have James Cameron direct it.

reply

Srsly, it was a joke guys, how dumb can you be? The OP trolled you good.
