on tv,HORROR CHANNEL UK THIS WEEK

Hey, what do you know, I'm watching it now on Horror Channel in the UK just as you say. And what do you know, it's spot on the right channel! What a horror!!! American through and through. It must still be seen as a classic over there.

Despite a great set of supporting actors, (Brian Cox and Celia Imrie to set the tone with Julian Sands making a valiant attempt to play the 2D stereotyped Russian Nicey/Nasty), Brigitte Neilsen still manages to make the whole thing look like it's acted according to the Plywood school. Whoever thought that she could possibly contribute to making it a watchable film should have their cabin airlock bolts cut and be flushed out into space. She honked in Rocky, (but anyone would have looked passable with Sly Stallone to compare against), and she honks here.

That said the plot is not too bad, just Neilsen. Did you get through the whole thing or pass out before the end?

There is so much wood in the acting, I am surprised the set did not catch fire!
