Ray's Transformation... SPOILER

OK Ray gets fatally wounded by a Kaaliun-Zombie-Robot, his space suit stays intact. Soon after the attack, he dies.

Later, Ray's body gets used as spare parts for a new Kaaliun.

Some weird things:

1.How can Kaaliun-Ray "see" ? It looks like the Kaaliun used his complete skull including his eyes as spare parts, no red visors etc.. Its very cold on the moon, but his facial tissue stays unharmed.

2. How big is Kaaliun Ray? After some fun with Mera, Jason takes a look outside the moon-tents' window; the tent is pretty small btw. . Kaaliun Rays face appears from the lower side. Did Kaaliun-Ray kneel? He looks pretty big, lying on the moon surface after catching a bullet from Mera.

3. Why does Kaaliun-Ray smile? Dieing Ray had a different look on his face.

Can anyone add some more funny details?

4. Bruce Campbells is only visible in the first complete shot of his mangled face; all subsequent shots utilize a dummy.

heres a pic of Kaaliun-Ray-makeup

5. Kaaliun-Ray DOES use Ray's "human eyes" to see. Theres a POV-shot from Kaaliun-Ray approaching the moon-tent with Jason and Mera inside. Its the known "targeting cube" with a circle inside.

Maybe the Kaaliun tech keeps his body parts warm for usage... ;-) Also, heat dissipation in space isn't that quick, since there's no atmosphere for it to dissipate into. So despite the cold, it might not be too difficult for it to maintain warmth.

As for the expression... Kaaliuns obviously have a sense of humour, just look at what the Corridor robot did to the scientist, when he could've killed him! ;-) So perhaps it put the expression on Bruce's face to mock its enemies! ;-) On the more literal side, perhaps Bruce's face was simply stretched during usage by the Kaaliun, resulting in the impression he was grinning.

Time enough for the earth in the grave!
