£1 in Asda
Picked it up tonight while shopping and going to watch it now. Mixed reviews, some bad but also some good I see. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I didn't think it was a bad film. What I liked about it was that it didn't have any hidden agenda, didn't pander to political correctness or lofty ideals like you see with a lot of sci-fi movies today, just told a story and did it quite effectively. Acting was fine throughout no quibble there. Okay Pare is a one trick pony, but he always plays that character well and this is no exception. It did have atmosphere and a degree of excitement at times. Overall I can't complain as I got fairly good entertainment out of a quid.
yeah i paid a quid for it too. Bought it ages ago though, just never got round to watching it. It wasn't terrible, but every shot looked like it was from another movie, although having said that, the films atmosphere and look is its strongest quality.
