I watched this film last night and one of the things that bugged me is when M Hire gets on the top of the roof, he latches the door closed from outside. This is totally nonsensical. Not only is this a fire hazard, but who is supposed to open it anyway?
I was thinking exactly the same. Still a good film, but not a perfect one; there are some other flaws. And Sandrine Bonnaire, I'm sorry to say, never looked less attractive than here.
