enjoyed this movie until the mall scene

i just can't stand it when a character's actions make no fcking sense. it makes me mad these days. writers need to come up with a better device than people just being stupid. why did his girlfriend walk into the mother fcking mall? are you for real? walk in like a fcking idiot and wandering around. who gives a flying fck about a car crash if everyone's about to die? her being down there looking for a pilot already piss me off but that mall scene was just too much. at that point i basically fast forwarded to the end and it was dumb the entire way. why did that helicopter come back? there's a missile in the sky. i would've loved it if this movie was a logical escape movie. instead, they wanted that dreary ending so bad that they wrote a bullsht plot device, the girl being a fcking dumbsht, to get that ending. it's a hollow victory.
