People must be very incompetent and/or forgetful in the future

They keep losing their stun weapons on planes when they go back in time to seize would-be casualties of disasters. Furthermore, it can only be assumed that it was the same team led by Cheryl Ladd's character that drops a stunner on the 1988 flight (they never did explain how that happened, did they?), then goes on another trip to 1963 the next day and leaves a second (or first?) stunner behind.

If I ever go down, I hope I don't get the Potato Judge.

See that's exactly people shouldn't be trying to multi-task & get into hurries! Mistakes happen like the entire future being altered and creating NOT just ripple effects in the fabric of space/time, but huge hurricanes! 
