shareNot really a plot hole , just something kind of stupid of the characters not to do. But what could be even more stupid is , if they knew that she had already gone back , then they should know that sending her already failed to prevent him from finding it.
shareOne thing is that the future people didn't want to change the past, otherwise timequakes would occur in the future. So if she kidnapped him, that could've caused such a drastic change in the past.
