a "LOL" moment

Look for the scene in the restaurant. That flying cigarette scene made me laugh audibly, a rarity for me.

I'm glad you could find something to laugh about;me,I had to fight back tears by the time I walked out of this cinematic Chernobyl.

Wow, I'm surprised my post didn't fall off the server a long time ago!

ChrisO, I'm sorry you didn't like this movie. I hope you didn't have to pay a lot to see it. Believe me, I've had my share of time-wasters, too.

Ouch indeed. :) I had nightmares about it for a week.

reply

what's the story with your new sig?

reply

heheh ... can't think of just one. It used to say something like "posted in 2004" because messages from different years were overlapping, and that pissed me off. Then the programmers finally fixed that problem so now I need something new that's a good reflection of my not-so-normal personality.

Speaking of which, and be honest, I wonder if you're a little like me in that you'd like to talk to people but you won't post unless you really have something to say, or have a real question like the one about my sig. I'm guessing you aren't into the games and arguments that go on around some of the boards here. I peeked at your bio page to see if you listed anything we might have in common. I promise I'm not a cyberstalker.

Louise is eating with Bill in the restaurant, on a balcony type table. She just casually tosses her cigarette butt off the balcony, because she's used to the cig-zapper they have in the future.

Sorry I'm late, mr_showbiz. I promise I wasn't trying to be rude.

What khu said is correct, but I notice the things acted through faces and body language, which I thought made all the comedy in this particular scene.

Well, it's been almost seven years, and your post still hasn't fallen off the server. And if we were to travel back 21 years, that cigarette would still be burning.

It's now 2015!

Seems like it was only yesterday when I wrote that post, rather than almost five years ago.

Oh, it seems that way because it's NOW...THE FUTURE! 

I know what you mean, though. I'll look @ old posts and think to myself, I thought I just wrote that the other day! 
