5/10. Here's why / Esta es la razón:

I don’t expect every Hayao Miyazaki film to have a groundbreaking plot or a deep message, but MAJO NO TAKKYUUBIN (KIKI'S DELIVERY SERVICE)'s script is so basic. Luckily, it has enough charming moments to keep it watchable. Plus, Minami Takayama's performance is very good.

Any thoughts?

The only thing that's basic is your so called film reviews. Still, I can understand why you wouldn't find this film a masterpiece, it wasn't made for robots.

They're comments, not reviews... and at least I check my spelling.

Your comments are still so basic and generalized that they still end up saying nothing about the film you're talking about. Now that's if you say anything at all, most conversations I see you interject in you just post your number ratings as if that's supposed to tell anyone about anything. I apologize for the rude tone I used above, but I know I'm not the first to call you out on this. As for my grammatical error, it happens and the one above was a very minor one.

I post my ratings in other threads because they're the summarized version of my thoughts. If someone replies asking about them, I'll then post my thoughts in details. This method is better because A) It's a way to know if the user actually cares about others' opinions. B) It's faster (I go through lots of threads every week).

No, you're not. It doesn't bother me when people disagree with me (that's what forums are for); it bothers me when people insult me and then act like they're just sharing opinions. At least you had the decency to apologize.

I know it's a minor one. I was just... "fighting back".

Very well then, I will take your words to heart and I won't call you a robot again. Next time we end up in a conversation and I give a detailed response, I expect the same in return, no numbers. Once again, sorry if I insulted you in any way and I hope our next exchange is purely positive.

I don't just find it watchable, I find it enjoyable.

Basic plot? Sure. It's a little girl striking out on her own. It's her adventures that resonate with audiences.

Seize the moment, 'cause tomorrow you might be dead.
