I can't believe that a movie that was as popular as this one was, that there are not more posts and comments. I guess the popularity of the film has worn off in time?

I love this movie seen it at least 25 times since 1989, and while it may not have taken off, beleive me it is very popular in many town's, cities, and states in the US. The age bracket of 12-18 male teens then and now is all that needs to be said, this is the type of movie that sticks with you.

Yeah, like Schindler's List or Irreversible.

Sticks with me man.

Like those robots. Those little plastic robots. And 'the Suede' from Heartbreak Ridge. Or Robert Ginty calling his son a 'fruit'.
