I really enjoyed the movie. Patrick Dempsey was great, even with physical skills, but after the jealous husbands thing.. all turns too much exaggerated on my opinion.
I know is a comedy but at the end was too much for me.
I am sitting here watching this on Encore channel and I couldn't agree more. There were many more husbands that could have been involved but limiting it to those 3 was plenty and as you said, more than necessary. Over all a fun 80's movie and it is still shocking that Patrick Dempsey grew up to be such a fine looking man.
