It is. At best this movie is a homage to Steven Segal. Which is bad. Very Very Bad. But there is one saving grace to the whole debacle. Jerry Trimble's Mullet is perhaps the greatest to grace the silver screen. Wow. It flows and it goes and it never deviates during his roundhousing and getting his face kicked. Tsui Hark has made some incredible films, and some incredibly lousy ones. Nothing in between. This is right down there with his Vampire Hunters. Jet Li has probably blanked this out of his mind and personal collection.
