The Ides of March

We can hear The Ides of March's 1970 hit song Vehicle when Stallone repairs a muscle car. It sounds a little like the Rocky theme. Did The Ides of March update the song for 1989? You can hear flutes and brass and the vocals are different.

In listening to the film version of Vehicle, it does sound like The Ides of March recorded an updated version of the song for the film. The film's composer, Bill Conti, likely contributed some orchestral music into the song. Bill Conti composed the scores for 5 of the 6 Rocky films so that would explain why portions of the song sounds similar to the Rocky theme.
