Maybe it's cause I'm not familiar with cockney slang but I couldn't understand half of what was being said in this movie. I could understand the actual words but I had no idea what they were talking about. It was like odd phrases and references to things not established and I was just lost. I think I got the basic story but I just didn't know what they were talking about a lot of the time. Did anyone else have this problem?

It's the way it's supposed to work. Much of the dialog references things or conversations the characters have had in the past.

It's up to the viewer to piece it together and see how the snippets of phrases carry you on towards the climactic act.

I didn't quite get it the first time I saw it - but on repeat viewings it all started to fit.

Love it.
