Pacino playing an english character?

If its true, for better or worse, its worth a look!

I love Al Pacino as an actor, but i just saw a clip and the accent was awful. But if the acting to his usual standard i imagine i can over look that.

It wasn't meant to be the standard RP British accent though. It's actually a very strong accent (dialect?) that he did pretty well. Not spot-on, but still fairly good.

The accent is better when you see it all in context. It needs to be done with an accent because of the nature of the dialogue.

It's a good enough accent, in an incredible performance.

It's not a good accent because both characters are supposed to be from London, and neither sounds like it!

I am well aware that different districts of London carry different accents as i myself am English (although northern english and we carry different accents up North)

But Pacino and Guilfoyle use mish mashed accents in this labour of love.

I love pacino as an actor but.... He should have done this with Brits in the main roles, but then again he did it because he wanted to
