I would say yes. At the beginning, Pacino says something like "This guy that i was seeing" and later when they approach the actor in the bar, he says "we are on your side", with what i interpreted to be a knowing smile.

Also, it seemed clear to me looking at their demeanor, mannerism and outfit that they were supposed to be gay.

But maybe i'm reading into things.


People who don't like their beliefs being laughed at shouldn't have such funny beliefs
