Boy?

I want to know much more about boy, you didn't find out much about him at all in this film. Was he once a boy who got stuck and then turned into a form of a monster? Or was he pretending to look like like a boy to coax Brian to stay. mabe he was dressed in the skin and clothes of his old self so he could hide what he had tured into? If someone else has a theory please post.

*sarcastically* Poor Boy, its just so lonely at the top. I always wondered if Boy had to overthrow another monster king. Or was anybody really in charge before him? Also, did Boy ever go upside and play pranks? If he did they we're proably even nastier than Maurice's finest.

Seems like Boy is a pedophile --

He's clearly older, but dresses like a child.
There are tons of toys to lure children.
He asks Arnold to do him a "favor" and Arnold replies, "But it hurts my knees!" (Obviously alluding to a BJ)
He wants Brian...

I think Boy is the first little monster, he probably was a nasty little child that when he got punished ran away and somehow managed to find this alternate dimension where he could go and prank everybody he wanted, than he probably started convincing other kids to come down with him who were just like him. In the original script Brian was a big a-hole, Boy saw promise in brian and thought brian was just like him.

and the knees hurt thing is cuz the kid was always running up and down stairs. you run up and down a hundred flights of stairs and tell me how your knees feel.

You will all taste oblivian... Which tastes like Red Bull.... Which is disgusting!

That sounds pretty good except I don't know if he'd have to run away. I could see him as normal overly entitled, agnsty child just wishing for a place like the Under-the-Bed World. And one night, just out of curiosity, he pokes around under his bed and falls into the place he wished so hard for.

Did he create it merely by wishing or had it always exsisted? Somehow I like the first one 'cause the Under-the-Bed World lokks haphazard-- like it was designed by a child.

Yerah, I can vouche for the knees. I do jumping jacks in front of the TV and shovel manure which I have to wheel up a hill to dump. Both things have gotten so taxing on my knees I have to take a gluecosamine supliment.

I think he is an Evil version of Peter Pan. Left home didn't want to grow up, and finds lost children that wants to escape home. But I don't see anything sexual with his intentions.

The name is Stephen and I'm male.
Fear me, Love me, do as I say, and I'll be your slave.

Maybe he was a demon! Seriously, like one of the devils nephews, given his own little hellworld that he gets to govern over as well as being given the fun task of getting to slowly destroy and corrupt his world's inhabitants and recruiting kids into his own little private hell and turning them into monsters!

the back of his head looks kinda blown out in the closeup scenes

Did anyone else think that the scene with the villain at the end of "Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone" owed something to Boy, or just me? Or both inspired by some other source?
