The sexiest, most romantic Disney couple is Eric and Ariel--agreed?

Am I the only one that literally finds them a turn on? They are so sweet and dare I say, sexy! And that Eric---he's THE BEST!

I'm not typically a big fan of animation in general... I mean, I like it sometimes, but as a genre, it's not really my thing, as I prefer watching live-action and real people. However, I do love THE LITTLE MERMAID---and I just adore Eric and Ariel as a couple, because they do seem real---especially Eric! And he is just such a turn on! Okay, so I guess this means I'm attracted to a cartoon character, haha! But, surely I'm not the only one who finds this film not only sweet---but sexy as heck---am I?

Anyone else feel this way?

Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!

They are definitely one of my favorite animated couples.

Yes, definitely. Love Ariel & Eric.

Also in the running are...
Aurora & Phillip
Aladdin & Jasmine
and
Tiana & Naveen

Well, I'm a male and I don't find Eric attractive, but Ariel is hot as hell. Easily the hottest Disney princess for me. And yeah, they make a good looking couple.

One of the things I've always liked about Prince Eric, is that he is the first Disney Prince that actually felt...real.

With his easy-going personality and sense of humor, he felt like a real guy, like someone you could meet next door rather then a caricature.

Even Phillip who until Eric had the most screen time of the Disney Princes...still felt somewhat caricatured. With Eric however, if they didn't tell us he was a Prince I would have thought he could be an average sailor, as theirs nothing really 'Princely' about him and I think thats what makes him unique.

He's Disney's 'Everyman Prince' LOL

reply

Yeah, either Ariel/Eric or Aladdin/Jasmine.

reply

This is why Eric is my favorite Disney character.

The film is *very* sexy, as it deals with a young woman's irresistable desires. And although Eric is certainly an item to behold, the movie belongs to Ariel and her voyage into womanhood. She is flirty, determined, and oozes feminine sexuality - don't underestimate the "body language" as Ursula makes clear.
The scene on the beach where the wave crashes over Ariel just as her song "climaxes" is easily a metaphor for the overwhelming female orgasm. Now I said it, you know it's true.

"I am like Cryptonite to men. Cryptonite dipped in cellulite!"

reply

Ikr. They must have had fun while drawing some of the scenes in this movie.

Easily the greatest Disney couple. What makes me love TLM so much is these 2 great characters (plus a great villain in Ursula). Eric is my favorite character. He comes across as a real person, not some generic prince.

reply

Personally, I think Ariel has that generic body type of being overly skinny with no real figure like most females in Disney. So no I wouldn't consider her sexy. And I don't think that either movie fully showed their relationship to the fullest so I can't say if they are the best couple, but they are pretty cute together.

Stop skinny shaming 2019

Agreed, though I'd argue that Ariel and Eric's coupling was definitely very electric and seasoned, arguably rivalling those two.

So far as SB and SW, in all fairness regarding Aurora, they were going to get married anyways even if she never met Philip early. In fact, arguably, their meeting was probably the only reason why Philip was even able to undo the curse in the first place (otherwise, had they gone ahead as scheduled without meeting each other beforehand, Maleficent would have won, especially considering Aurora being cursed was the fault of the fairies fighting each other over the color of the dress and using magic).
