Bonds access to Q

I was always curious about this, since he resigned and left M on bitter terms, how was he allowed access to Q brance? He practically handed in his resignation!

reply

Q and Moneypenny were both putting their jobs on the line by helping Bond after his 'resignation'. This is the film that proves that, despite all the frustration that Q has endured over the years, he genuinely cares about Bond. Q's increased screen time is one of the best things about this film.

MoneyPenny and Q every time they were fighting with Bond was in a playful way.
MoneyPenny understood he was a womanizer and teased him with it about it every time she could like In Goldeneye when told Bond she was on a date with a gentleman she said so to joke with him and get him jealous and he made her go jealous too every opportunity he had.

Q was the same way he knew his toys would eventually be broken but enjoyed blaming Bond for it and fake he was frustrated. I think sometimes he enjoyed being annoyed by Bond and provoked him.

The biggest example the simulation scene In Die another day and told him he shouldn't kill his boss Bond comes with the Flesh wound thing and Q says there is always an excuse with you double O zero and James smiled.

At the end of the day both ( MoneyPenny and Q ) cared and liked Bond very much he was the happpiness in MI6 apart of being a great agent those two two enjoyed every time Bond frustrated them and MoneyPenny always smiled with his flirting.

I think this filmed showed a thought of bond as a son and money penny truly caring about 097.

I agree. The Q moments were great and, for me anyway, gave it more of an emotional connection. He really was like Bond's uncle, in a way.

Not sure what's confusing, Q explains it all in the scene. Q was concerned about Bond, knew what he was up to and thought he could use some equipment. So Q got Moneypenny, who was also concerned, to track down where Bond was. Q then took a leave of absence and flew down to meet Bond.

I read somewhere that Desmond Llewellyn said in an interview that LTK was his favorite Bond as he got the most screen time in that one. And he was one of the best parts of the movie.
