Milton Krest's is probably the only bad guy death in Licence to Kill where I legitimately feel somewhat sorry for the guy. He basically got killed because Bond framed him and set him up.

I guess that Truman-Lodge is another bad guy in Licence to Kill where I actually felt somewhat sorry for him when he gets killed. Maybe because, he wasn't a violent thug like Dario, he was just a nerdy accountant who unwittingly pissed his boss off at the wrong time. He kind of strikes me as what if Alex P. Keaton from the sitcom Family Ties worked for a Columbian drug lord.

shareI guess that could work, but would be a wide deviation from Bond canon from the books. Even here, there's a deviation. As I recall, Leiter in the book has lost a hand. Here, they SAY he lost a leg and a hand, but has both at the end of the film.

Then you can give them the appropriate puberty blockers and sex change operations, or hopefully your kids Kindergarten teacher will go ahead and do it so you don’t have to worry about it.
shareI felt bad because for my money, delToro was the best actor and his character the best portrayal of the lot. And I like many of the actors, such as Davi, Zerbe, Hedison (the original "Fly") and Pedro Armendariz ("From Russia with Love"). Even the normally good villain ("Under Siege, Dark Territory") Everett McGill plays it flat.
