Does Franz Sanchez have the most vicious main Bond villain death?

The only ones that I can immediately think of that might come close are Karl Stromberg in The Spy Who Loved Me (he quite literally gets shot in the nutshack), Alec Trevelyan in GoldenEye, and Elliot Carver in Tomorrow Never Dies. But what happens to Sanchez just seems to be the most sadistic and graphic.

Yes. But he totally deserved it.

Besides, Sanchez was responsible for the mutilation of Felix and the murder of Della, so I imagine that Bond was VERY upset.

Everybody dies in a vicious way in this movie, except for Della. Her death isn't even shown.

I just watched the scene with Krest being killed by Sanchez again. Still doesn't get any easier to watch!

You've got a good point. However, as I was reading your posy, I thought about how Elliott Carver met his maker in Tomorrow Never Dies. His death was pretty gruesome too.

How about Dominic Greene in Quantum of Solace - Bond leaves him in the desert with nothing to drink but a can of oil. He's found days later, shot, but with oil in his stomach - that's a slow, humiliating, maddening fate courtesy of our hero.

Elliot Carver in "Tomorrow Never Dies", anybody? He gets chopped up by his own sea drill while he's screaming and pleading for mercy.

Elliot Carver has to be on of the most satisfying movie villain defeats. He's such a smug, self-efficacy weasel (who thinks his more bad ass then he actually is without his wealth and legions of henchmen) that you can't help but cheer when Bond finally puts his ass in his place.

I thought a huge fat guy getting sucked through a tiny hole and left hurtling to his death from the stratosphere with his pelvis crushed and his rib cage shattered into his lungs was a pretty grim end for Goldfinger. Both arms dislocated, flailing in the wind.
