Rewatched this for the first time in years and was blown away by how often Gibson's Australian accent comes out. It was not like that in the first one. It was stronger than any I've seen him do in any American movie.

i noticed that, too. i just watched this movie about 12 hours ago. Of course, it isn't like Carrie Fisher, who was not even British, to speak with a British accent in Star Wars Ep. 4. It still was interesting how Gibson's real Aussie accent was obvious in this second film.
