Who exactly was Ms. Barrett's son?

I've always suspected it was the guy who was beating up Kid Ray in the cafeteria?

reply

I thought tbat too, but it wouldn't have to be him necessarily. I guess we assume it was hom because he had the highest profile.

I thought it was the bastard who let the drug dealer into the building at the beginning after handing him the wad of cash. This guy shows up later when Clark has all the bad apples on stage and has them thrown out of the school. He is right there in the front row talking crap as they are escorted out. He is the same piece of **** that gets back into the school later on and pulls the knife on Clark.

reply

He was a scrub. He let an old man deck his ass with one punch.

That was hilarious.

I always figured it was the guy that started screaming at Clark aftet he threw out the people on the stage. He was screaming about going into the Air Force.

reply

He had a different name that her. I think we do not see him.

I always wondered ppls thoughts on that question because she is basically a formation of various ppl that the real Mr Clark dealt with. From an anger mother, the poster girl/guy that tries to get him fired, etc.

When I saw this movie as a kid I assumed it was the guy who threatened to harm Mr Clark after being kicked out of School but when he rtnd to cause more issue and she was still going on with her rampage ... I assumed not. Because if it would have been him she would be more worried about him doing jail time than dealing with Mr. Clark.

I'm believe her child was perhaps never to been known ... just a character for us viewers to wonder about.

300 students got expelled that day. It could have been any one of them, except Sams!

reply

Who the hell was Clark trying to help by kicking out 300 kids?!? What's the point of trying to keep a school out of receivership if there are no students? Is a frigging building more important than the people inside?

That being said, maybe the kids who were expelled were better-off. After all, if there had been a fire the remaining students would be toast thanks to Clark's reckless disregard for the fire code.

reply

Well that was about as dumb a statement as i have ever seen...

reply

The ones he kicked out were the ones who had been there for five years or more and had only taken up space and wasted everyone's time. At the meeting with the teachers he asks for that list so he knows who to throw out.

reply

To keep out drug dealers to make students and staff feel safe. That was one of the biggest problems at that school.

With all that chaos, it's no wonder the teachers couldn't teach and do their jobs, hense why the test scores were so low
