There was a fire in my school and someone turned off the alarms.

Can't watch this movie without thinking about Mahopac High School in my junior year.
During finals week the students would pull the alarms so their friends could leave class and talk about the test.
Well, the principal (with the help of his two assistants and the head janitor) got the idea of turning off the alarms. You guessed, some one-perhaps a student from my class-set fire to the high jump mats that were drying out in the corner of the small gym before summer storage.
Our football coach/phys-ed teacher had to run around the school telling everyone that the was a fire.

Thankfully only the small gym was ruined and no one got hurt. Interestingly, the principal and two assistant principals survived the public reaction; That poor head janitor, who probably had the least to do with the decision-making, got fired.
